- Low on the food chain = typically lower heavy-metal risk than big fish
- Whole prey-style fish for variety & enrichment in weekly rotation
Key Benefits
- Simple single-ingredient oily fish — plug-and-play topper or DIY component
- Highly palatable; many fussy eaters accept fish first
- No grains, fillers or artificial additives
Feeding & Storage
How much fish? Aim for roughly one days worth of your pets food spread out over a week. For example if your pet eats 500g a day you can feed up to 500g oily fish per week, split across 3-4 meals. NEVER all in one go.
- Serve raw only (never cooked) — cooking hardens bones
- Defrost in the fridge; use within 72 hours once thawed
- For gulpers, feed partially frozen or hand-hold a piece; size accordingly
Safety: Always supervise. Choose piece size that suits how your pet eats. Remove any sharp fragments. If in doubt, use smaller sections or hand-feed.
