About Jingo Pets
Jingo Pets is named after our Border Collie, Jace – better known as Jingo.
He's the dog that changed the way we think about pet food and ultimately the reason this business exists.
For over 13 years we believed raw feeding was the best and really the only proper way to feed dogs. We fed raw, we recommended raw, and we genuinely believed it was the right way to feed every dog.
Then came Jingo.
We realised something important — raw feeding is not the only way to feed dogs properly. It’s one of several very good ways to feed, but not every dog thrives on the same diet.
He didn’t suit raw feeding. We did everything properly — different proteins, elimination diets, trials, balance, the lot — but he just didn’t thrive on raw. That was a big turning point for us because we had to step back and rethink everything we thought we knew about feeding dogs.
What we realised
Ingredients matter more than format.
Ingredients first, format second.
You can feed a natural, healthy diet without it being raw, and you can feed a raw diet that isn't very good if the ingredients or not balanced or do not suit the individual. The type of food matters, but the ingredients and quality matter more, and most importantly, the food has to suit the individual dog.
That's really where Jingo Pets came from.
Feeding Pets In The Real World
We also live in a world now where life is busy and fast paced. People work long hours, travel, have families, and need things to be convenient and realistic. Not everyone has the time, freezer space, or lifestyle to feed one specific way, and that's completely fine.
At the same time, the pet food world is full of marketing, fancy packaging, big claims and overwhelming choice. It's very easy to get sucked into believing something is good when actually it's just marketed well.
We try to make things simple.

Just good food, honest advice, and helping people find what works for their pet.
Our Approach
We just want to help people feed their pets better — whatever that looks like for them.
Some people feed raw.
Some feed cooked or cold pressed.
Some want simple, convenient but still good quality food.
Some are very natural and holistic and want supplements and natural care.
Some just want to move away from supermarket food and don't know where to start.
All of that is fine.
We're not here to judge how people feed their pets.
We're here to help people feed better within their budget, their lifestyle, and what suits their pet.
A Small Independent Business
We're not a big corporate pet shop or a huge online warehouse.
We're a small independent business. We pack the orders, load the freezers, do the deliveries, answer the messages and spend most of our time talking to customers about their pets.
This business is built around real pets, real experience and a genuine passion for helping animals thrive based on their individual needs.
If we wouldn't use something for our own pets, we won't sell it.
